- Plan, develop and manage the hotel’s Learning & Development and Employee Engagement strategy in alignment with business objectives, brand standards and people priorities.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) with HODs and identify competency and development gaps across departments.
- Prepare and manage the annual L&D plan, training calendar and departmental training plans based on business priorities and identified needs.
- Coordinate and deliver orientation, onboarding, mandatory, technical, service, leadership and soft-skill training programs.
- Ensure all employees receive appropriate induction and are familiar with hotel standards, policies, procedures, values and guest service expectations.
- Manage and monitor mandatory training and compliance programs, including Accor/brand requirements, safety, hygiene, HACCP, emergency response, sustainability and other applicable topics.
- Develop and facilitate training programs, workshops, coaching sessions and learning activities using appropriate learning methods.
- Coordinate external trainers, training providers and certification programs when required.
- Work closely with HODs to develop departmental On-the-Job Training (OJT), job-specific training plans and competency development programs.
- Support leadership development, talent development, succession planning and career development initiatives.
- Coordinate and monitor probation, onboarding and employee development programs, including appropriate follow-up and check-ins.
- Manage and promote learning platforms, digital learning programs and other available development resources.
- Monitor training attendance, completion, learning hours, certification status and training records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, observation and operational performance, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual L&D reports, dashboards and analysis for Management.
- Monitor the L&D budget and training expenditure and ensure resources are used effectively.
- Maintain an up-to-date training matrix and identify outstanding or overdue training requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring required training records, certificates, attendance and evidence are complete and readily available.
- Coach and develop trainers and departmental training coordinators to strengthen the hotel’s internal training capability.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives that support a positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Plan and coordinate employee activities, recognition programs, celebrations, communication campaigns and team-building initiatives.
- Work closely with P&C and HODs to promote employee recognition, appreciation and internal communication activities.
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys and other feedback channels; analyze results and support departments in developing and following up on action plans.
- Monitor employee participation and engagement activities and identify opportunities to improve employee experience and engagement.
- Support initiatives related to employee wellbeing, internal communication, recognition and workplace culture.
- Promote a continuous learning and engagement culture through relevant learning activities, employee events and development initiatives.
- Ensure employee engagement activities are aligned with hotel values, brand culture, business priorities and available resources.
- Organize and support employee development activities, workshops, campaigns and learning events.
- Ensure all training materials, SOPs, presentations and learning resources are accurate, relevant and aligned with hotel and brand standards.
- Participate in management meetings and cross-functional projects related to people development, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required by Management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Education, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Employee Engagement or Human Resources, preferably within an international hotel/resort.
- Previous experience in an L&D Manager, Training Manager, Employee Engagement Manager or equivalent leadership position is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality training, adult learning principles, Training Needs Analysis and competency development.
- Good understanding of employee engagement, employee experience, recognition and internal communication practices.
- Strong experience in designing, facilitating and evaluating training and employee engagement programs for different employee levels.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations and the ability to translate operational and people requirements into effective learning and engagement initiatives.
- Strong leadership, facilitation, coaching and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees and HODs at all levels.
- Strong organizational, planning, event coordination, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Learning Management Systems, employee engagement tools and digital learning platforms.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to monitor training and engagement data, identify trends and prepare meaningful reports.
- Creative, proactive and adaptable with a strong focus on continuous improvement and employee experience.
- Professional, approachable and able to build positive relationships across departments.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
