SPA MANAGER | TBP Spa

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall Purpose

To lead and manage the Spa & Wellness Department, ensuring operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, strong team performance and sustainable revenue growth while maintaining the luxury standards and philosophy of The Anam Mui Ne.

1. SPA & WELLNESS OPERATIONS

Oversee the daily operations of the Spa & Wellness Department, ensuring efficient and professional service delivery.

Maintain high standards of treatment quality, hygiene, safety, cleanliness and Spa presentation.

Manage treatment menus, operating procedures, therapist schedules, facilities, equipment and Spa supplies.

Ensure all operations comply with hotel policies, standards and Spa concepts.

2. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & TRAINING

Lead, motivate and develop the Spa team to achieve service excellence and performance standards.

Recruit, onboard, supervise and evaluate Spa employees.

Develop and implement training and coaching programs in collaboration with the Learning Manager.

Manage staff schedules, performance, engagement and development.

Foster a professional, positive and supportive working environment.

3. GUEST EXPERIENCE & SERVICE QUALITY

Ensure personalized, professional and memorable Spa & Wellness experiences for every guest.

Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction and ensure effective service recovery when required.

Continuously improve treatments, services and the overall guest journey.

Ensure the team maintains excellent product knowledge, treatment expertise and professional service standards.

Work closely with other hotel departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

4. REVENUE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Drive Spa revenue, profitability and overall business performance.

Monitor key performance indicators including revenue, treatment utilization, therapist productivity and average guest spend.

Develop initiatives to increase treatment, wellness and retail sales through effective upselling and cross-selling.

Review pricing, packages, promotions and treatment menus to support revenue growth while maintaining the Spa’s premium positioning.

Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to attract new and repeat guests.

Manage Spa budget, expenses and cost control, and provide regular performance reports and recommendations to management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Spa & Wellness Management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Spa & Wellness experience, including 1-2 years in a managerial role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of Spa operations, treatments, wellness services and luxury service standards.
• Proven leadership, coaching, training and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of guest experience, revenue generation and business development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Passionate about wellness, hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
