- Directly make bakery/cakes according to the restaurant's menu, at the request of diners and the chef,

- Have full knowledge of all pastry menu items, syllabus, daily features and promotions as it applies to your operation.

- Ensure all food is prepared according to the recipes and standards specified by the Executive Pastry Chef, this includes quality checks and tasting all food prior to it being served.

- Handle requests by other departments concerning the Kitchen department and process cake orders.

- Plan, prepare and implement high quality pastry/bakery products, and set-ups in all areas and in the restaurants.

- Recommend new cakes to change and improve the restaurant's cake menu, increasing guest satisfaction.

- Monitor, check and preserve tools, freezers, refrigerators, ovens, stoves... tools used daily in the pastry kitchen area
